New Fenland House
This newbuild house was designed sympathically with brick and black barn walls. Tall picture windows look out through the garden and adjoining field towards the immense fenland skies and we designed these strips of planting to gently ease the view into the landscape. Around the corner we built a sheltered garden to provide respite from the cold winds and used inspiration from Morocco with tiles interspered with the paving and the soft verdigris coloured walls. At the front and side of the house large gravel and pebble beds soften the planting and set it off beautifully.
