Village

front

garden

The sun baked front garden of this modern stone house had become unmanageable with fairly thuggish plants taking over so we stripped back the garden, leaving a couple of box plants and a hydrangea and started again.  The planting is mainly a restful palate of purples, blues and whites, with a beautiful amelanchier and some 'Kew Gardens' roses providing the main structure, together with some box topiary.  The garden was planted for year round interest with a selection of bulbs popping up in the spring before the perennials start flowering through the summer and autumn.
